Domestic Abuse Awareness Training

We offer domestic abuse awareness training to other organisations in the community. The mojority of people do not understand what domestic abuse really is and how it is an all controlling power in peoples lives. It is so insideous and can happen to any person throughout their lives. By educating others about DA, we hope that it will be picked up out in the community, in doctors surgeries, in dance classes, at the hairdressers, at school etc. By identifying someone suffering abuse, you can get them the right help.

Our training sessions are delivered in person and can take place at your own place of work, or here at Jubilee House in Paisley (other arrangements can be discussed if there are difficulties). The sessions are 2 hours long and are delivered in a group setting.

Criminal Justice Lecture

We were delighted to be given the opportunity to deliver a lecture to the masters students studying Criminal Justice at UWS which looked at how Jubilee House supports survivors of domestic abuse and what systems are in place legally to support survivors and tackle preprepators behaviour. We learned a lot from the students in the class! Thank you to Dr Maria Sapouna for having us!
